The death of a Blount County teenager has sparked her family in to action, trying to prevent their nightmare from happening to someone else.
Thursday morning, Amanda Moore, the mother of 16-year-old Amelia Keown, spoke with State Senator Doug Overbey about getting “Amelia’s Law” passed in Tennessee.
In August, Amelia Keown was killed in a head-on collision in Blount County.
